This type of fern is one of the very popular fern use to beautify your gardens. Itvis also called as Equisetum, puzzle grass and snake grass and is the only living genus of equisetaceae family.
It is believed that this plant existed thousand years ago and was able to survived the changes of nature.

In the olden times and some people of today used this plant as a herbal medicine to cure certain diseases such as kidney problems,  osteoporosis, highblood pressure and bleeding gums.

This type of plants needs a lot of water therefore,  its pot should have no hole to catch all the water.  Other used this to beautify their fish fond.
